We will be featuring the Bella Bed in an upcoming issue! We have a very nervous little kitty (she was unfortunately declawed when we adopted her from the shelter) so she never feels quite "safe". Her bed has always been on top of our dresser... and the moment I switched it out and put the Bella bed there, she dove in, snuggled right up and didn't come out for about 12 hours! I have had lots of experience with cat beds over the twenty-odd years I have raised cats. At present I have 30 Cornish and Selkirk Rex running my office and one spoiled Burmese princess running my heart at home. Winkie, the little Burmese, is past picky. I brought home a Bella Bed and that is THE PLACE !!! I have never seen Winkie in another cat bed, ever. Hey Michele! I am sorry it took me so long to send you a picture of my babies in their new Bella Bed... I wanted to let you know that Jax and Puzzle just LOVE the bed!

As soon as the package came to the door, Jax and Puzzle knew something special had arrived for them - when I put the bed out, even Jax, my rescue baby (who often doesn't know what to do with new doggy stuff) knew just what this bed was for - he climbed right in!

I am so glad we got the medium, they can both snuggle in together - thank you so much for upgrading the size for us, that was very generous of you!

I bought the Bella bed for my pug, Mortimer. The bed is a big hit! It was, at first, hard to tell if Mortimer liked the bed, since my two cats kept trading it off between them! It's extremely popular with both cats, and Mortimer likes it as well. I can send you a photo of Mortimer in the bed if you would like. It's the perfect size for cats and the pug and they all find it extremely comfortable. Definitely worth it! PS I saw you advertise in Colorado Dog Magazine. —Jennifer T.

So, I bought charlie, my dog, a beautiful Bella Bed and it arrived today. As Michele can attest, Charlie snuggled right into the bed without having to coax him with treats — nothing. Hhe knew this was HIS bed within minutes of it being here. Charlie woke up to play with his favorite “rope” and while he was away, one of my cats, Rummy, began sniffing around the new bed, left and within minutes came back. Within seconds, he was burrowing into the bed and was fast asleep. I then took Charlie for a walk and when I came back TWO cats were asleep in Charlie's bed. I think Charlie has lost his bed! The funny thing is that I have bought my cats beds before but they never liked beds even when I would put catnip and treats to entice them to sleep on the beds. Nothing worked. So I didn't even think to buy them a bed this time around since they’ve never liked them before. but that was obviously before they tried the bella bed! It’s obviously going to be interesting to see who is going to win out on the bed -- the dog or the cats because they all love the Bella Bed! Here’s Dia cozy in Tapi’s Bella Bed. I never thought I’d see this guy take to a bed but now I can't keep him out of it! I guess since these guys aren’t likely to share a bed I’ll have to get another one for Tapi! By the way I love that I can wash the bed and binky. Our hospital cat, Blondie, definitely loved his new Bella Bed on the first day after some coaxing away from his old one. Cats don’t like change at all. I placed Blondie on the Bella bed and petted him for at least 5 minutes to let him associate only good things with the new bed, and before I left the hospital he was fast asleep on his new chic bed! I bought my old dog a Bella Bed because I knew the bed was cushioning his arthritic joints and supporting his back and hips. So when I added a new puppy I of course got him a bed and binky. Michele, here are Walter and Haley in their new beds. The binkys are on their sofa and the dogs love them! Now they have somewhere “Bella” to sleep in my bedroom and in the tv room. Best part is that these beds are super soft and cozy and they look great! For a frame of reference, Walter is between 75-80 lbs, depending on the weather, and Haley is around 40 lbs. —Marcy L. R.

My dog, Bella, absolutely LOVES the bed. The material you chose to make it out of really keeps her warm at night. She has such a fine coat and she used to get cold at night lying on the floor in her old bed. It is absolutely hilarious how she sleeps in it. Well, I really really like your product...it is unique, washable, and all my animals like it...from the dog to the cat to even the rabbits! The fact that it is a designer colored functional bed is super. The ties allow me to tie the bed to a chair leg so my chihuahua dog can 'scratch/burrow' to her hearts delight and the bed stays in place. Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful beds... I bought two of them (the larger size) at the dog show at Reliant several months ago and my two babies (2 year old Shih Tzus) love them and cuddle down each night without a hassle...I heartily recommend the design to anyone who loves their little ones as much as we do ours...yes, they are expensive, but my two girls get so much pleasure from them that the cost is well worth it.

Interesting sidenote - my husband (who is now retired) got distracted outside by some hummingbirds feeding in our feeders and he forgot to turn off the faucet in the kitchen sink...and when he returned, our kitchen was flooded and both beds were totally soaked...so he rolled each one in a large beach towel and proceeded to step down onto the roll and extracted as much of the water as he could and set them outside to dry...no harm done and they are as good as new! —Cordially - Sue M.
